Paul wrote to two young pastors, Timothy and Titus. His goal was to help them weed out the inevitable false doctrine and faulty leadership that can creep inside the walls of any church. The goal for the church is better discipleship, so establishing godly leaders and addressing twisted and misused teaching within the church is a necessity.
But this is not just for church leaders. Because every healthy church has spiritually healthy church members engaged and growing together in the Gospel.
